18 – 20 May 2018 – A yoga weekend at Tilton House

Emma Spencer-Goodier & Claire Saunders are hosting a weekend of yoga at Tilton House. The Sukha Sessions will explore the blissful nature of the Self, to connect with your wild soul through the practices of yoga, stories and sweetness whilst nestled in this lovely historic house. Fire pits, wild ancient landscapes, botanical delights, yurts, saunas and clean wide skies and the sea airs.  This will be a fairly yoga intense weekend, so will suit regular practitioners with a minimum of 6 months consistent yoga practice, although we will make time for a walk on Saturday afternoon in the footsteps of the Bloomsbury ghosts who walked, reflected and escaped to these hills to feed their muse. Alternatively you could curl up in the library and enjoy some relaxing peace.

Meals: Supper on Friday night, Breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Meals are vegetarian, delicious and clean and much is foraged or grown locally.

Accommodation: There are seven bedrooms with double, single or triple occupancy options, ensuite or shared bathroom.

Prices start at £350 triple occupancy, £385 twin occupancy. There is very limited availability for single occupancy price on application.

The Yoga: Claire teaches Soulful Vinyasa Yoga which is a transformational fusion of form and flow designed to light you up and soothe your soul. Her teaching is a call to embody the principles of yoga, empowering you to feel more balanced, energised and grounded. Emma teaches an intuitive hatha yoga flow that offers clarity, suggests precision, offers strength whilst suggesting softness. Her teaching has become a loving yogic enquiry into the essence of you through a powerful cocktail of asana, mindfulness and breath, this practice has grown from and is inspired by the traditions of Iyengar, Ashtanga and Sivananda. Both teachers complement each other in the way they offer flowing sequences that blend with steady poses, always rooted in clear alignment and integrating patterns of movement with an underlying theme drawn from yoga philosophy and connected back into real life.
