Join us at River Tavy Retreat for a weekend of Ayurvedic consultation and massage combined with holistic vegetarian and vegan cookery tuition.

Massage to include do-in self-Massage, daily self-massage practice, clothed partner massage and seated massage techniques.

Massage handouts to take away.

2 sessions of deep relaxation (evenings) and two pre-breakfast self-massage (do-in) sessions.

Small groups to ensure individual tuition, maximum of 8 people per weekend.

Topics for discussion will include:

The energy of food; how to prepare food to optimise this.
How to maintain the energy flow in our bodies and use massage as well as food to promote this.
Emotional eating; our emotional relationship with food and how to use food to change how we feel.

Simple and delicious recipes to prepare with handouts to take away.
Learn about new ingredients.
All food will be seasonal, grown locally and of course sugar free.

Arrival throughout the afternoon

6pm Self massage (do-in) and relaxation (one hour)

7pm Supper


8am Do-in self massage (for 30 minutes)

8:30am Breakfast

10am-12:30pm Cookery (preparing lunch)

1pm Lunch

2pm-4pm Free time

4pm-6pm Massage in pairs: seated head including arms shoulder hands and lying down, face massage. What oils to use.

7pm Supper

8pm-10pm Assisted stretching with partners and relaxation


8am Do-in self massage (30 minutes)

8:30am Breakfast

10am-12:30pm Cookery prepare lunch

1pm Lunch

2:30pm Partner or self massage lower leg and foot

3:30pm Tea and cake
