Be content with what you have;
Rejoice in the way things are.
When you realize there is nothing lacking,
the whole world belongs to you.
— Lao Tsu
This year’s retreat reflects upon a quote by venerated philosopher of ancient China, Lao Tsu. Each day begins with active asana practice and meditation. The afternoons include satsang where the focus of the retreat is explored through contemplation, journaling, facilitated discussion and individual and group exercises. The rejuvenating practices of restorative yoga, meditation and pranayama are woven throughout the day, particularly in the afternoons.
If you want to get out in to the great outdoors then this is the weekend for you. With classes and activities running throughout the weekend, you will be spoilt for choice. There is archery, high ropes, zip wire, climbing, horse riding and an adventure course (these activities require minimum 2 weeks pre-booking and extra cost £10-£50p/p) not to mention bike or walk to just ride off into the sunset.
