Idyllically set opposite the canal, we love our time in Thrupp as it is the perfect mix of proximity to London with great travel links, (so you can join us straight after work!) but far enough into the countryside to allow yourself to completely switch off. Our luxury manor house in the Oxfordshire countryside has a designated wing just for yoga and relaxation, a grand dining room, peaceful and tranquil communal areas, plenty of outdoor space and lots of options for exploring the local area.
On our Wellness retreats we focus on enriching every part of your being- with first class yoga teaching from Senior Yoga teachers, Meditation to calm your active mind, incredible meals lovingly prepared by our talented chefs and served as a community, optional holistic treatments to soothe your body and guided walks of the local countryside; you are guaranteed to leave feeling energised, a little lighter, and grateful to yourself for taking some time away!

Tammy has been a yoga teacher on over 20 AdventureYogi retreats over the years. Tammy has an exceptional breadth and depth of knowledge of yoga having practiced it for 19 years and taught for 9 years. She has trained with some of the most renowned yoga teachers globally and also studied an MA in Yoga Philosophy and Meditation. She is also a trained as a Pilates teacher and is a qualified Thai Yoga Massage Therapist so has a brilliant knowledge of the body.
Tammy weaves yoga philosophy, anatomy and postural alignment into her yoga classes in a way that inspires, uplifts and energises her students. She is passionate about connecting with others on a deep level and her sense of humour and light-hearted approach creates a warm and friendly atmosphere at every retreat.
7.30am – Tea and pre-yoga protein snacks.
8am-8.25am – Silent walk in tranquil surrounding countryside.
8:40am-10:40am – Morning yoga and meditation class.
10.40am – Healthy nutritious veggie brunch.
11:30am- 2.30pm – Massage & free time; explore the waterway, go for a walk or try taking out a canoe!
2.30pm – Healthy light lunch.
3pm-5:30pm: More treatments to pamper yourself or free time.
5:30pm-7:30pm: Evening yoga and meditation class.
7:45pm: Delicious vegetarian feast.
Start and finish times
The yoga retreat starts from 4pm on the Friday, with the first yoga class starting at 6pm. For 3 day yoga retreats, we finish at 3pm on the Sunday, after a light lunch to send you on your way.
