” Emma is a truly inspiring teacher, strong, brave and compassionate, she intuitively knew how to find the best in all of us, pushing us to physical limits with real kindness. The yoga was magical, the chalet, Villard Reculas and skiing were a dream – a peaceful unspoilt mountain village with no lift queues but access to one of the biggest ski areas in the French Alps. Really it couldn’t have been better!” Hannah 2018

“We so enjoyed absolutely everything during the week we spent with you in the mountains. It was all just perfect – I can’t think of anything I would change.” Jane 2017

“We both had a fabulous time. I loved your style of teaching – such strength and beauty and I look forward to more yoga with you in the future.” Sandra 2017

Ski and yoga or snowboard and yoga? Choose your passion and combine it with a hatha yoga flow practice in one alpine holiday this winter. Outside there is ice, snow, powder and breathtaking mountains. Inside the beautiful stone and wooden chalet there are log fires, bespoke rooms and congenial communal spaces lit by candles, warm smiles and tall tales of mountain adventures. Delicious vegetarian meals, home made breads, juices and house wines are served daily as the sun rises and sets over the mountains of the Oisans ranges. This is an ancient village where time has been preserved in the twists of the timbers that support the tumbling tiles, the wood piles high beside the cow shed door and yet, we can potter up the road and with one ski-lift are deposited into the heart of one of Europe’s favourite ski areas, Alpe D’Huez. Pumping pistes and an inspirational yoga schedule make this a holiday that offers both peace and passion for the ultimate ski-yoga getaway. This is one of only a few yoga ski holidays that is offering single accommodation and we pride ourselves at providing a beautiful yet affordable holiday. The yoga teacher: I am a keeper of words and a lover of stories, philosophy and poetry. My yoga offers clarity, suggests precision, offers strength whilst suggesting softness. Mornings will be dynamic and flowing and evenings restorative. I am senior yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance Professionals, I am a teacher of teachers and I aim for my classes to be rooted deeply in the strong traditions of yoga whilst still being filled with laughter and delight. A strong skier who loves the mountains, this is a dream coming true to offer the clarity of yoga in the serenity of the alps.
