This retreat takes place at the stunning West Lexham retreat centre over the November new moon weekend. You’ll get to delve deep into your practice, experiencing a balance of dynamic and energising asana, as well as meditation and replenishing restorative yoga. There will also be time to relax – whether that be curling up on a sofa in front of one of the wood burners, or walking on beautiful Holkham beach (an easy drive away), with its miles of golden sand. The quiet energy of the new moon, the darkness of late autumn and the Norfolk landscape will all support a turning within and a coming home to ourselves.

The venue is a gorgeous country manor estate, with acres of gardens, woods, forests and even its own boating lake. It is a 90 minute train journey (plus short taxi ride) from London. We’ll practice, eat and chill in a bright and beautifully restored early nineteenth century Grain Barn, which has kept all its original timber beams and flint walls. The sitting area has wood burners and giant sofas, perfect for settling onto with a good book or a cup of tea. You’ll sleep in luxury bedrooms, which combine rustic charm and contemporary design. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with walk in showers and underfloor heating. Delicious & nourishing vegetarian food will be prepared on site by our chef.

The retreat is taught by Annabel Chown, a teacher at Triyoga in London. Annabel brings her architect’s creativity, precision and love of spaciousness to her teaching. She offers elegantly-crafted sequences, designed to nourish and brighten body and soul. Her classes are characterised by clear instructions and a balance of intelligent alignment with fluid movement.
